Behind the Print: Mosey Me Stripes

You will have noticed stripes have popped up for the first time as part of the Mosey Me summer range. I love a good stripe - simple and classic. While stripes have firmly established their place in the home over many decades, there seems to be some sort of stripe revival that has swept back through - particularly stripes reminiscent of 80's interiors.

In the right colours and scale a stripe can become a real statement piece. I felt it was time to introduce stripes into Mosey Me in our unique and fun way. And given the timing of the summer collection as we head into the holidays, it made sense to create a festive tableware stripe for to carry through the holiday celebrations. Of course, our version of a festive stripe had to include signature Mosey pink. I then paired this with a forest green (the classic colour of the season), orange to signify the Australian summer and lilac to represent dreamy dusk evenings. The result, our Maypole Stripe, feels very Mosey – bold and playful yet sophisticated, and everything good about this time of year. 

For the bedroom, the stripe in our Poppy bedding allowed us to offer a neutral in the range. It is bold, clean, and modern and provides a strong contrast to the playful poppy reverse.
