Behind the Print: Ribbon

Learn more about how Eliza's latest design came to life.

The Ribbon print, part of our Tivoli collection, is a tribute to the grace and strength of circus aerialists. These artists twist, float, and create mesmerizing shapes using only their bodies and flowing fabric suspended in midair. Inspired by their effortless movement, I wanted to create a design that captured the fluidity of ribbons in motion—elegant, dynamic, and full of energy. This theme is layered with the current fashion obsession with bows, seen everywhere from hair accessories to prints and embellishments.

The colour palette—cherry red and Mosey Me pink—adds to the print’s playful yet sophisticated feel. This bold combination is both nostalgic and modern, tapping into a trending pairing that feels very Mosey. The vibrant contrast enhances the sense of movement, making Ribbon a statement print that embodies both magic and romance.

This print lent itself so easily to our organic cotton terry range; a larger scale for our towels and a smaller scale for robes and slippers. But we have a feeling you're going to be seeing this print a lot more in the future... stay tuned!
